How long does a run actually take?

A full pre-seed run is 62 screens, 59 of which you have to answer, and 121 taps. Reading only the screens you must answer, at an ordinary pace, that lands a little over an hour. Losing takes less. You can put it down and come back — the run is saved.

What is the specification at the end, and what do I do with it?

Every answer you gave is compiled into a product build specification: twelve sections written for a builder, from product context and business model through to acceptance criteria. Copy it, or save it as a PDF.

It is a brief, not an app. Paste it into a build tool — Lovable, Replit Agent, Bolt, Bubble, Webflow, v0 — and the tool builds from it. The document is reordered and re-worded for whichever target you pick. Where the run never captured an answer, the specification says [NOT CAPTURED] and tells the builder to derive it and label what it derived, rather than inventing a fact and presenting it as yours.

I finished a run and the investors ghosted me. Is that a bug?

No. Funding is a draw against your pitch score, not a threshold, so a strong company can still be passed on — and the single biggest lever is which market and idea you pick, before you answer anything else. Playing the same way on a stronger idea is what moves it.

Do the build-tool links pay you?

One of the thirty can, today. The other twenty-nine are plain vendor homepages that earn us nothing, and the game tells you which is which on the card, next to the link. The ranking is computed from fit to what you built and never sees the commission data at all.

My investments all read 1.00× and never move.

A position is marked at the price of the last round that actually closed, the way a real fund marks one. Between rounds it does not move. We think that is currently too still to read as a living portfolio, and it is being worked on.

Can I change the name on the leaderboard?

Yes, in Settings, as often as you like. Names are rolled from the app's own word list — there is no text box, which is deliberate: nothing a player types is ever published.

How do I delete my data?

Settings → Delete my data removes the anonymous account and everything attached to it. There is a 14-day grace period during which you can cancel from the same screen. Deleting the app removes what is stored on the phone. See the privacy policy.

Notifications never arrive.

Check Settings → Notifications inside the app, and iOS Settings → 1 Hour Startup → Notifications. If both are on and nothing arrives, email us — it is worth knowing.
